New Firmware Release

WatchGuard recently released new firmware for their T- and M- series devices.  This is a maintenance release to address known issues.  JSCM Group has tested this firmware and found no significant issues.

Highlighted Feature Upgrades/Enhancements:

  • Access Portal/SSLVPN Updates - The Access Portal and SSLVPN no longer respond to HTTP requests sent to an HTTPS port

  • Geolocation Corrections - Issue resolved where Geolocation redirects caused the Firebox to not respond or crash

  • BOVPN Traffic - Issue resolved where BOVPN traffic was denied even though tunnel was included in the BOVPN-Allow policies

  • FireCluster - Correction of issue that caused the SSLVPN process to use high CPU when no client was connected
